Annual Meeting of WAMA Monthly Staff and WAMA Board

ALL SENIOR MEMBERS ARE WELCOME TO PARTICIPATE. WE NEED YOUR IDEAS!

This month we will take time to look back and evaluate the progress made during the first year for the Washington All Mission Academy. We will meet with the WAMA Board and hear their thoughts on how we move forward from here. Lastly, we will plan next year's curriculum.

We will also be looking for members to replace key staff members who have to step down for job, family and other personal reasons. Please give some thought to how you could serve at WAMA this year. We want deputies in all positions to ensure coverage when primary staff members need to miss a month. We will only be looking for senior staff members this month, with cadet staff being selected in August.

Plan to arrive on Friday night before 10pm or on Saturday before 9am. Uniform is blue and grays.

Saturday

0900-1200 AAR discussion (what we did well and what improvements we would like to make), goals for next year, ways to improve cadet staff mentoring, update facility needs list, recognition program monthly and annually

1200-1300 Lunch

1300-1500 Identify operating policies that we want to develop, develop a way to document our training, key contacts, methods etc. (make it easier to know where we have been and to help newly assigned folks not have to reinvent), discuss marketing and further inclusion of Wing members

1500-1700 Meet with WAMA Board – discuss vision, accomplishments, areas needing improvement, budget, future expansion, community networking, recognition, sustainability of our program

1700-1900 Barbeque Dinner and Birthday Party/Recognition

Sunday

0900-1200 Staffing changes, brain storm future training opportunities, tentative training schedule for SY 2019-2020, deconflict any facility issues

Cost is $12 for each overnight, $5 if only there for the day and $10 for food. We will have a cold breakfast available and put out sandwich makings and salad for lunch. BBQ for dinner.
