AE - Natural Hazards in Aviation - Meteorological

 In this training, participants will learn and discuss how various meteorological natural hazards and disasters impact aviation.  As part of this session, we are inviting aviation professionals (pilots, air traffic controllers, ground personnel and others...) to share their anecdotes.
"What natural disasters does Washington State have? Washington’s most common natural disasters include wildfires, floods, severe storms, landslides, earthquakes, tsunamis, droughts, and volcanoes. Other less significant disasters include power outages, winter storms, and tornadoes. Between 1953 and 2019, Washington declared 147 major disasters, of which floods and fires happened the most according to FEMA." - Crisis Equipped www.crisisequipped.com 

CP - Executing the Cadet Physical Fitness Program
Instructors:  C/1st Lt Jaciano Jantz (Tri-Cities) and C/Capt Misa McKenna (Fairchild)

This class will provide training and guidance to include different methods of conducting and monitoring the Cadet Physical Fitness Program (CPFT) in a virtual environment.  Instructors will review the Best Practices options suggested by National Headquarters and the Washington Wing Cadet Programs Section.

ES - General Emergency Services (GES) Course and Exam - ES 116
Instructors:  Lt Col Sid Wiggs (Ft. Vancouver)

Completion of this course is a requirement for pursuing future Emergency Services ratings and other training such as the Field Emergency Services Training (FEST) and the Washington Wing Ground Search and Rescue Academy (GSAR).  Students will be provided an overview of the CAP Emergency Services Program.  The certification examination instructions will also be provided.  Credit for this course will be given upon successful passing of the on-line ES 116 examinations.
